The official MIT affiliated venture fund, born at the Media Lab.
E14 Fund helps build the MIT startup community with programs and resources, on-campus and off. Working closely with some of the most innovative start-ups coming out of such a renowned institution, E14 needed a digital presence to reflect their unique position of having their finger on the pulse of the cutting edge.

Drawing from the foundational elements of the MIT and Media Lab visual identities, we set out to align E14 with the vernacular of these heritage brands.
Alongside our refreshed logo (drawn from the grid and proportions of both the MIT and Media Lab logos), we extended the line language into renderings of the MIT campus — buildings that are fondly embedded in the minds of all alumni. These line drawings then come to life via animation that creates a dynamic visual language for the brand.
Starting with MIT’s main Building 10, then morphing into the rotunda, and finally zooming-in to reveal a target centered grid, the animation communicates E14’s robust experience and knowledge in the MIT world, and how that is laser-focused on helping alumni start-ups create impactful innovation and grow successful businesses.
